Can I reschedule my delivery?

Yes! Rescheduling is free if you notify us at least 12 hours before your scheduled delivery time. If you reschedule with less than 12 hours notice, a trip fee may apply since our truck may already be en route.

We understand plans change, so we try to be as flexible as possible. Just give us a call as soon as you know you need to reschedule.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is straightforward:

100% Refund: Cancel 24+ hours before scheduled delivery
50% Refund: Cancel within 24 hours of scheduled delivery
No Refund: Once the truck is en route or the dumpster has been delivered

We process refunds promptly. Severe weather delays are rescheduled at no cost to you.

What happens if there's bad weather on my delivery day?

Safety comes first! If severe weather prevents safe delivery or pickup, we'll contact you to reschedule at no additional cost. We monitor weather conditions closely and will reach out proactively if we anticipate any delays.

You will not be charged cancellation or rescheduling fees for weather-related delays.

Can I throw away appliances like refrigerators or air conditioners?

Appliances without freon (washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers) can go in the dumpster at no additional charge.

Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units containing freon require special handling and incur a $40 surcharge per item. This fee covers the environmentally responsible removal and disposal of freon gas as required by EPA regulations.

Please let us know when booking if you'll be disposing of freon appliances so we can note it on your order.

Can I put mattresses in the dumpster?

Yes, mattresses and box springs are accepted with a $25 surcharge per item. Many landfills charge special handling fees for mattresses due to recycling requirements, and this surcharge helps cover those costs.

What happens if I accidentally put prohibited items in the dumpster?

If prohibited items are discovered in your dumpster, we must remove them before disposal to comply with landfill regulations. This results in a contamination fee of $150-$350 depending on the severity and the items involved.

Can I dispose of construction debris like concrete, dirt, or bricks?

Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, rocks, bricks, and asphalt require a specialized "clean-material" dumpster due to their extreme weight. These cannot be mixed with regular debris.

If you have a significant amount of these materials, please let us know when booking so we can provide the appropriate container and pricing. We're equipped to handle these projects—we just need to plan accordingly!

Delivery & Pickup

Where should I have the dumpster placed?

The ideal placement location is a flat, hard surface like a driveway, parking lot, or street. The area should be:

Clear of overhead obstructions (power lines, tree branches)
Accessible for our delivery truck (at least 14 feet wide, 23 feet tall clearance)
On a stable, level surface that can support the weight
Free from obstacles like parked cars, mailboxes, or landscaping
Within reach of where you'll be generating debris

When booking, provide detailed placement instructions. Our drivers will follow your directions carefully.

Will the dumpster damage my driveway?

While we take every precaution during delivery and pickup, we cannot be held responsible for driveway damage caused by the weight of the container, especially when fully loaded. Older driveways, asphalt in hot weather, and overloaded containers present higher risk.

To protect your driveway, consider:
Placing plywood boards under the dumpster
Positioning it on a concrete pad or street (with permit)
Avoiding overloading beyond weight limits
Not loading the dumpster on steep inclines

Do I need a permit to place a dumpster on the street?

Permit requirements vary by city and county. In most cases:

How much space do I need for dumpster delivery?

Our delivery trucks need adequate clearance to safely place your dumpster:

Width: At least 14 feet wide for truck access
Height: Minimum 23 feet of overhead clearance (watch for power lines, branches)
Length: Approximately 60 feet of straight, unobstructed approach

If your location has limited access, let us know when booking. We'll work with you to find the best solution, though some tight locations may not be accessible with our trucks.

What happens if the dumpster can't be picked up as scheduled?

If our driver cannot access the dumpster for pickup due to blocked access, a locked gate, parked vehicles, or other obstructions, a $150 dry-run fee will apply. The pickup will need to be rescheduled once the obstruction is cleared.

To avoid this fee:
Keep the area around the dumpster clear
Don't park vehicles blocking access
Ensure gates are unlocked on pickup day
Remove any items placed on top of the dumpster lid
Don't overload beyond the top rail

Can I request early pickup if I fill the dumpster before the rental period ends?

Absolutely! Just give us a call when your dumpster is ready for pickup, and we'll schedule it as soon as possible. Please note that early pickups do not result in refunds for unused rental days—the base rental fee covers the full 7-day period regardless of when pickup occurs.

Can the dumpster be moved once it's delivered?

Dumpsters should not be moved by the customer once delivered. Our containers are extremely heavy and can damage property or cause injury if moved improperly.

If you need the dumpster relocated to a different spot on your property, call us and we'll send a truck to move it safely. A relocation fee of $75-$150 applies depending on the distance and difficulty of the move.

Never attempt to drag, tow, or push the dumpster yourself!

Loading & Weight Limits

How much weight is included in my rental?

All our dumpster rentals include allotted tonnage of waste disposal in the base price. If your debris weighs more than this, overage fees per additional ton apply.

We provide weight tickets after disposal so you can see the exact weight of your load. This transparency ensures you're only charged for what you actually dispose of.

How do I know if I'll go over the weight limit?

Most household junk and construction debris from typical projects fall well within the allotted limit. However, certain materials are much heavier:

Heavy Materials (likely to exceed limit):
Concrete, asphalt, bricks, dirt, rocks
Roofing shingles in large quantities
Full dumpsters of wet materials or soil

Lighter Materials (usually under limit):
Wood, drywall, general household items

Can I load the dumpster above the top rail?
